Find a WRAP Group
Many people find it helpful to develop a WRAP in a group. It’s a great way to share and gain ideas for wellness tools and other aspects of WRAP when you’re starting out. If you are looking for a WRAP group in your area and don’t see anything here, you can also contact your local state agencies to find out where WRAP groups are being used.
Wellness Recovery Action Plan - The cornerstone of WRAP
This book is has everything you need to develop a WRAP, and some recovery topics, too. It has examples, ideas and a very easy to follow format.
WRAP Plus
Creating your WRAP and using it is a huge accomplishment. Many people have found great success when they make it a part of their daily life. This book gives you ideas and instructions on how to LIVE WRAP on a day-to-day basis. Filled with NEW IDEAS for successfully developing, using and updating the popular Wellness Recovery Action Plan for prevention, recovery and wellness, this book includes stories from those who are LIVING WRAP to stay well and are learning to anticipate and address life’s hurdles.
Build Your Own WRAP - Online!
There are many ways to create a WRAP, as you’ll discover. Build Your Own WRAP is for anyone who wants to have their WRAP accessible on the computer, wherever they are. You can update it, email it, save it, delete it and start over- whatever you choose to do. This is just one of the many ways to create and use your WRAP.
Creating a Wellness Toolbox - Online
Wellness Tools are a very important part of WRAP. This online resource walks you through collecting Wellness Tools that may be helpful for you. Again, if you are more comfortable using a computer and want this information easily accessible, this is a great way to do it.
Creating a Daily Maintenance Plan - Online
This course will lead you step-by-step through the development of each of the three parts of the Daily Maintenance Plan, a description of what you are like when you are well, a list of things you need to do every day to stay as well as possible, and a list of things you might need to do on any given day.
Triggers & Triggers Action Plan - Online
Triggers are external factors that throw you off balance, even when you have been taking good care of yourself in every way possible. Everyone experiences Triggers, even people without mental health challenges. Identifying each Trigger as it happens and responding with an action plan is a powerful skill to enhance the quality of your life.

Early Warning Signs- Online Course
When you notice that Early Warning Signs are happening, you can diminish or eliminate them by using action plans you develop. Your Wellness Tools are a good resource for action plans. This can be helpful when:
  • You are working on a WRAP for yourself for the first time (and have already completed the Wellness Toolbox, Daily Maintenance, Triggers, and Early Warning Signs courses)
  • You have a WRAP for yourself and want to revise it so that it best meets your current needs
  • You are supporting someone as they develop their WRAP and you want to know more about it
  • You are a WRAP group facilitator and want to refresh your understanding of this part of WRAP.
When Things are Breaking Down- Online Course
This is one of the most powerful parts of WRAP® because it can help you avoid a crisis. Because you put this section together when you are feeling well, and your supporters are already familiar with it ahead of time, you increase your chances of avoiding crisis in friendly and helpful ways.
Advance Directive/Crisis Plan - Online Course
The Advance Directive/Crisis Plan is the most intensive section of WRAP®, the most difficult and time consuming to develop, and some feel the most important. This course guides you through each of the nine parts of this plan. While it is helpful to have already developed the other sections of WRAP before developing a Crisis Plan or Advance Directive, it is not essential.
