Tape Record your WRAP®

There are many ways to create a WRAP; recording one is a great way to do this. All you need is a tape recorder and you! This is a great alternative for those who prefer not to write or type their Wellness Recovery Action Plan.

Scrap Booking

This is another great way to create a WRAP and suits people who are very visual. By using photos, magazine clippings, fun scrap booking materials, drawings, or anything you choose that represents sections of your WRAP; you will have a very a unique Wellness Recovery Action Plan. You will be able to add to it or change it any time you want and also share as you wish.

Collage

Similar to Scrap Booking, a collage is another visual way to create a WRAP. Using anything you choose like pictures, notes, memorabilia- whatever is meaningful to YOU that illustrates your Wellness Recovery Action Plan.

Voice Activated Typing

With today’s technology, many programs are available that will transcribe words to a document via voice activation. If you want to create your WRAP to have on paper, but are not able or do not wish to type it, look into speech activated software to develop your Wellness Recovery Action Plan.

Working with a friend

When you have people around you that you trust and feel comfortable with, this is a wonderful way to create your WRAP. This is another good option if you don’t wish or are not able to write your Wellness Recovery Action Plan but you want to develop something that works for you; with your personality and the way you live your life. So whether it’s a collage, a written plan or a scrapbook, you don’t have to do it alone.

Create a videotape

There is no wrong way to develop a WRAP; it’s yours from start to finish. If you are interested in acting out your WRAP, then do so. You can even incorporate props, artwork, pictures, music, whatever you feel expresses your WRAP the best.

My WRAP Brochure

The key feature of this new brochure is accessibility. Using this format, you can have WRAP with you wherever you are and whenever you might need WRAP. You will be able to easily have WRAP with you in your pocket, wallet, backpack or purse wherever you go. You can have it with you if you are homeless or living in a shelter, you can have it with you in the hospital, at your doctor's office, at your workplace, at parties and gatherings, when you are shopping, when you are attending events in your community, when you are volunteering, when you are doing things you enjoy, and when you are exercising.
